Analysis of Drum Learning Standards at CV Ilham Project Music School

Music education, particularly drum learning, at CV Ilham Project Music School faces challenges in implementing a systematic and structured curriculum. This study aims to analyze the learning standards applied and the drum learning process at the school. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that although teaching is conducted through lecture and practice methods, the lack of a clear curriculum causes students to struggle in understanding the material. Learning that begins with listening to songs without adequate introduction to musical instruments and theory hinders student development. Therefore, it is essential to develop more systematic learning standards to ensure effective and efficient learning processes. This study recommends improvements in the curriculum and teaching methods to enhance the quality of drum learning at CV Ilham Project Music School.
